Zdzislaw Pisinski: Madam, this year's International Trade Fair "Petrol Station"  is organized for the 21st time. How have this event changed over that time?

Halina Pupacz: (…) The fair organized by our office always presents innovative products, services and projects in line with new trends. The event changes as the market changes. We are always trying to attract exhibitors with an offer corresponding to the current needs of the market and present it to the largest audience.

ZP: Will the competition for the Product of the Year be present this year?

HP: Yes, it's tradition. Awards for the best products and services presented at the Fair are, however, important argument in shaping the business, a positive image of the awarded companies. I hereby want to invite all exhibitors to participate in the Contest.

ZP: In the same time, this trade fair are not only products and services ...
HP: Yes. Consistent for years, the fair is a platform for exchange of knowledge, collaboration between business and the authorities supervising their activities. Let me remind you that the shows are part of a comprehensive offer of Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels, which saved the statute, however, the dissemination of knowledge and technical culture. Thus, the presence at the Fair, patronage and cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Treasury, Office of Technical Supervision, Inspection Office of Transportation, Research Institute of Automotive Industry, etc. Thanks to meetings organized by us, conferences or trainings at the Fair (but not only!) entrepreneurs have the opportunity to become familiar with solutions to the problems currently affecting them, to mention only the last example, the issue of replacement fuel tanks at the stations (mentioned in one of the posts:

ZP: (…) Place which offers the fuels is commonly called " petrol station " , while the contemporary stations often have a more significant share of fuels other than petrol : diesel oil ( diesel fuel ) or liquefied petroleum gas - LPG . So it is more appropriate to use term " gas station " ...

HP: Diesel, or diesel fuel is the basis fleets . LPG is now an alternative fuel to gasoline used by individual drivers . But gaseous fuels , including CNG and LNG even , are increasingly used in public transport and cargo . Recently, there was much talk about signing a contract for mobile CNG station by the Warsaw MZA .
The alternative fuels are investing heavily also other units of public transport , such as Krakow , Olsztyn, Mielec , Radom, Rzeszów and Tychy.

Powerful gas fueled units of semi lorries are the pride and joy of such a class manufacturers like IVECO , Volksvagen and Kamaz . An interesting offer is also on gas engines for heavy equipment such as tractors for municipal services company Herbst , not to mention ordinary refuse trucks . And do not forget about electric cars . Road tests such as Renault vans prove that their practical use is quite real. Professional device for charging such vehicles also presented at our Fair .
