Changes required in the electricity pricing for the households
All Polish energy providers (Enea, Energa, PGE and Tauron ) have submitted a proposal, requiring changes in the electricity tariffs for households, to the Energy Regulatory Office.Regulator reported that enterprises expect changes in tariffs for electricity trading in connection with the recent changes in the system of support for cogeneration.
URE (Urzad Regulacji Energetyki: Energy Regulatory Office) does not specify what changes in prices can be expected and when they would be applied and if they will take place at all. Vice-president of URE, Maciej Bando, expressed his disapproval to the proposal, claiming there is not foundation to it.
