500 petrol stations out of the market
Due to the change of law imposing higher
environmental standards on the petrol stations, it is said that around 500
stations will vanish from the market.
Theoretically, facilities ,which by
the end of last year (2013) did
not carry out repairs of tanks
adapting to more
stringent environmental requirements, cannot continue the sales. But
this is only a theory. It is predicted that many
of the stations work as so called “ghosts”, not investing in new safe and environmental
regulation.
Condition of tanks is going to be monitored on the
occasion of routine inspections conducted,
among others, by the fire department
or the Trade Inspection.
