Poles are changing electricity provider more often than before
Energy
Regulatory Office reports that in the first 10 months of 2014 the electricity
delivered to the customers who changed the provider exceeded previous years
significantly, being equal to 45,4 TWh. That clearly means that Poles are more
proactive in “taking care of their wallet” and are making an effort to reduce
their electricity bill by choosing more profitable solution.
By the end of October 2014, the largest number of
customers was served by company Tauron
Distribution - 122 641 households, which in the period January - October 2014
provided slightly more than 22 TWh. The next place was taken by PGE
Distribution - 89 231 customers and approximately 8.8 TWh of supplied
electricity.
Next in the classification, in terms of the number of
recipients of TPA, was Enea Operator, which at the end of October 2014 recorded
70 916 recipients in the period January - October 2014, supplying 5.5 TWh of
electricity. Energa Operator at the end of October recorded 69 561 recipient,
which in the first ten months of the year were provided with 6.9 TWh.
