Druzbha Pipeline: agreement between Technical Supervision Office in Warsaw and the management of the pipeline upon maintanance activities and the risk assesment
Technical
Supervision Office in Warsaw, as well as national media, announced that the
office signed a cooperation agreement with the administrator of the pipeline Druzhba, for the maintanance activities and the risk assesment.
The Druzhba pipeline is the world's longest oil pipeline and in fact one of the
biggest oil pipeline networks in the world, connecting Siberia with Central
Europe.

Heat wave in Poland: blackouts more possible than ever
Beginning
of August, with its sudden rise in the temperature, certainly caused
satisfaction on the faces of all who you are going on vacation, but it also
caused quite a headache to those managing the Polish power system. Heat wave caused blackouts to be probable than one could think. In order to prevent that, there have to be taken drastic measures.

Poles are changing gas supplier few times more frequently than four years ago - reports URE
At the moment, about 95% market
share of gas sales belongs to PGNiG (Polish Gas and Oil Group). However,
every customer connected to the distribution network of Polish Gas Company, has the right to switch supplier of gas, to any reseller of a choice, as long as the reseller has signed General Distribution Agreement with the network operator on the territory of client’s residence.

Russia might be covering their liabilities to the former shareholders of Yukos by selling its properties outside federation - also those in Warsaw
The newspaper RBC
calculated the amount of the liabilities that the Russian state has to pay to
the former shareholders of Yukos, which has been illegally nationalized at the
beginning of 2000s.
